Based in Austin, TX and founded in 2012 by Bud Brigham and Rob Roosa, Brigham Royalties, formerly known as Brigham Minerals (ex-NYSE: MNRL), is focused on acquiring oil and gas mineral rights across the U.S. Brigham Minerals went public in April 2019 and grew production from roughly 6,700 boepd the second quarter 2019 to approximately 15,000 boepd in the third quarter 2022 prior to its acquisition by Sitio Royalties (NYSE: STR) in the largest minerals and royalties deal to date, creating an entity with an approximate $4.9 billion enterprise value.
